JamesLuver23 Some Quotes Rising star Hilarie Burton laughs off the notion that her schedule is tough to handle as she shuttles every few days between New York City to host MTV's "Total Request Live" and Wilmington, N.C., to co-star on the WB's "One Tree Hill." In fact, she even has time for a personal life. "I do, I do! I have a wonderful man I'm in love with," she says, declining to give his name. An actor? "Oh, no, no. We only need one self-indulgent person in the relationship," she quips. "He does work on the show as an AD (assistant director). Anytime I'm working, which is quite a bit, he's there, and that's nice. So many people shun working with the person they're involved with in life, but I love it. About Ian and Ian/Hil posted by lalover Hil’s fiance is Ian Prange. He got his start in the film industry through his dad, Greg Prange, who was the director and co-executive producer of Dawson’s Creek and then later moved onto One Tree Hill. Ian moved his way up to second 2nd assistant director over that time. The pair originally met during Season 5 (’02) of DC, when Hilarie made a guest appearance as an MTV VJ in the Spring Break episode. They didn’t officially hook up until OTH started filming the pilot in April ‘03. Ian is a very sweet guy. He is very handsome and charming. Very much takes after his mom. During his early days of working on Dawson’s Creek, he was known as bit of a player. The typical ladies' man. He has settled down since then, however. Out of the DC cast, he was particularly close with Katie Holmes and, to a lesser extent, Josh Jackson and Kerr Smith. Ian even appeared on a few episodes of the show. The most notable was the Season 6 premiere, when Kerr’s character ushers a group of gay guys out of his bedroom under Grams’ nose. That was a hilarious scene! Ian and Hil are planning a wedding in the near future. I’m going to respect their privacy and not share details. Let’s just say that they are a great couple and I wish them well. I can't get over their kiss last night. It was really sweet. I loved how his arm was wrapped around her. It's really nice to see her with him, and its not just work, work, work. It must be hard having 2 jobs.

Aww they were so cute last night.
I watched with my bf and we were trying to figure out who that guy she was kissing was. I had heard she was engaged or something so we figured it was her fiance she was kissing. They look really happy together. __________________

I'm glad Hil is so happy. They definitely look very much in love. It was too funny though, I was watching TRL with my friends last night, and when Hil kissed Ian..they all literally gasped. I was like, "Yeah, that's Ian."
