Rachel was outside the group so she was able to see things how they were instead of how everyone pretended they were. And she wasn't afraid to say it.
As far as storylines go, I'm not sure what I would've wanted to see specifically. They set her up to have a lot of growth in the s4 premiere then she went back to her old ways. I would've liked to see her continue to grow as a person without losing her ability to tell people the truth. And of course, more scenes with Peyton.  __________________

and its telling that she saw the LP connection.
its too bad her character didnt ever really get redemption and they stuck her with dan in the later seasons. so annoying. __________________

Everyone did, they could both say they were just friends but other people saw it differently. Yeah, she deserved better and I would have preferred for her to stick in S5 instead of what we got with her stealing Brooke's money.

Was I the only one who liked Rachel's early s4 storyline? I thought there was a lot of potential for growth there but of course the writers didn't go with it.

I dont remember either, just her grades and then hooking up with Cooper? lol.
I liked Rachel/Mouth and was hoping something would happen there eventually. Her storyline in season 5 had so much potential, I was bummed they had her take the money. And she was okay in season 7 but it was just dumb that she didnt do much and then her and Brooke didnt end on good terms either, it was disappointing because I did like their friendship. |

Wasn't the Cooper thing at the end of S3? The grades were mid season 4 I know that. I thought that her storyline had a lot of potential too, and I would have much preferred it over the Angie stuff in the second half of the season.

In early s4 she was just recuperating from what happened at the end of s3 and we got some emotional scenes with her. There wasn't a specific storyline, I just liked the idea of seeing her grow as a character instead of being one dimensional. I wasn't a big Mouth/Rachel fan but would've preferred them to any of his other girlfriends.

That's right, it was an decent storyline before the Nathan stuff. Was never an big Mouth fan so all of his girlfriends deserved better.
