| Rory in "We've Got Magic To Do" Episode 6.05 - We've Got Magic To Do From thewb.com WHAT A SWELL PARTY THIS IS —Rory (Alexis Bledel) does a fabulous job organizing a big DAR bash for Emily (Kelly Bishop). However, at the party, Richard (Edward Herrmann) confronts Logan’s (Matt Czuchry) father, Mitchum Huntzberger (guest star Gregg Henry), about his opinion of Rory’s journalistic talents, while Emily has an even uglier confrontation with Logan’s mother, Shria (guest star Leann Hunley), over the romance between Rory and Logan. Meanwhile, after a small kitchen fire at the Dragonfly Inn, Lorelai (Lauren Graham) needs Richard’s help settling the insurance claim and uses the time spent with her father to needle him about the fact that he has been unable to get Rory to return to Yale. Though he’s annoyed with Lorelai, Richard has to admit that Rory is not where she should be. Writer: Daniel Palladino Director: Michael Zinberg I'm excited about this episode!  I can't wait to see Emily and Richard confronting Logan's parents. Wonder how Rory and Logan will react? And Rory and Paris looked fabulous in those clothes in the promo! At least to Mitchum, show him that he was wrong about thinking she hasn't got what it takes! ETA: I just watched the episode. And I really liked it.  I loved the Richard/Mitchum confrontation (does anyone else think M is a bit  ? I really didn't like him!)And I absolutely loved the Emily/Shira confrontation!  I loved the look on Emily's face when she was about to go up to her. And confronting her like that, without letting anyone else know what she was saying... And isn't Shira a bit hypocritical? Thinking Rory is not good enough for Logan, when apparently (if I understood correctly) she herself was just out for Mitchum's money...I really hoped Rory would have confessed (as she almost did) to Paris that she wouldn't have dropped out of Yale, if it wasn't for what Mitchum said. Then maybe Paris would have talked some sense into her. Well, I guess Richard will do that now! Finally! | |||

| I liked this episode a lot and found it interesting that Rory ran the DAR function. Richard confronted Mitchum! Yes! I hate mitchum! and emily and shira. There seem to be a lot of fights in season 6. I liked this season a lot minus a few eps. __________________ you really want to protect me I'd do anything. no one has ever said that before. no please please don't go. I'm already gone. Alex and Isabel I want you to see me. you stayed. Michael and Maria you're my favorite martian Kyle and Tess Will you marry me Liz Parker?
