Rory in 7.18 "Hey Bale Maze"

7.18 Hey Bale Maze

As Stars Hollow prepares for the annual Spring Fling Festival, Rory brings Logan home to see where she grew up, but there's tension in the air between him and Lorelai. Meanwhile, Rory waits to hear news after a job interview with the Providence Journal-Bulletin; April visits Luke and he adjusts to the changes that come with having a teenage daughter; and the town is up in arms when Taylor uses the entire festival budget to build a hay-bale maze.

Finally a new episode!

I hope we get some good and funny Rory/Lorelai scenes too. And some interesting Rory/Logan moments should be fun.

The town stuff is usually very funny.

I am so looking forward to this! I really want some happy R/L interaction. We have been missing that recently! But I am really just so excited to have a new episode at all!

Can't wait for this episode. Town-centric episodes are usually fun and hilarious to watch. It should be good! I love these types of episodes every once in a while. I love my townies!

It was a good ep. I’m happy.

First of all, excited Rory was nice to see. And a little obsessed Rory was cute too. I love how she blurted out “There’s so many factors!”.

Lots of great R/L moments in this ep. Somehow I found that simple gesture of Logan heling Rory take her coat off incredibly sweet. The David Hasselhof moment was funny.

Logan telling Rory to make the decision that she wants to make was lovely. And I liked the symbolism of him going her way in the maze.

I also liked that talk between Lorelai and Logan. I’m glad they cleared things up. And I’m happy that Logan wanted Lorelai to know that he was taking things seriously and that Lorelai seemed to understand that.

It was nice to see a bit of the "old" Rory. Pro/con lists etc.

ETA: I have to say that this is my favourite episode by far this season. I keep watching certain scene over and over again, and that I haven't done once before this season. I hope the next ep will be as good.

I have to agree with you! This is way up on my favorite episodes list. I have watched all of the Rory/Logan scenes multiple times already! I have a problem!

I thought it was cute how they called each other "babe" or "sweetie". Iv'e never that they would have done that before.

Wow, that is such a tough question! I think the hand holding throughout the episode and the nicknames like "babe" and "sweetie" were my favorite parts. I normally find those kinds of names to be really cheesy, but Alexis and Matt really pulled them off!

They did! I think it was because they said it in a kind of off-hand way. It wasn't emphasized in any way. It sounded very natural.

I think my favourite moment would have to be Logan telling her to make the decision she wants to make, and not worry about him.

Though the hand-kissing was adorable too.
