Rory in 7.06 "Go, Bulldogs!"

7.06 Go, Bulldogs!

The CW: COLLEGE DAYS - Christopher talks Lorelai into visiting Rory at Yale during Parents' Weekend, and Lorelai is surprised to find that Richard and Emily are also there. Trying to prove how cool he is, Christopher invites all of Rory's co-workers on the Yale Daily News to an expensive lunch where they all drink too much, and the meal ends abruptly when Rory insists they leave to cover a breaking story. Meanwhile, Luke meets April's swimming coach, who convinces him to take her adult swimming class. When the coach flirts with him, Luke asks her out on a date. Wil Shriner directed the episode written by David S. Rosenthal & Rebecca Rand Kirshner.

Hopefully all this democracy nonsense won't get in the way of our viewing pleasure. :bubble:

I look forward to seeing this episode!!

I'm excited for this ep in general because Dave R. and RRK wrote it.. I love their writing and now they're writing together.. Which makes me even more excited :D

This epsidoe sounds great. I saw a directors cut on cwtv.com and it was hilarious.

So, what did everyone think?

I thought it was a good ep. Not much Rory in it, but the C/L bits were funny. :)

Again,I have to say it was okay. SOmething about this season is not making me like it.

The CL scenes were funny though. I thought it was funny how Chris asked all of Rory's newspaper buddies to a ski trip.

I thought it was okay. It was not my favorite by any means. A lot of it felt awkward and forced. I wish there had been more Rory, because she is one of the main characters, but overall I thought it was okay.

Yeah, I would have liked to see more Rory too. It seemed to be a kinda Lorelai/Chris and Luke centric ep. There's nothing wrong with that of course, but more Rory would have been great. :)

Yeah, it was an OK ep. I though the two previous eps were much better.

To be honest with you, this was the worst GG episode I ever saw! The story was boring, the ending was boring, and nothing really happened!
I was hoping to see more Rory+Lane scenes, and that they will talk more, and Lane was watching over April?!? It was weird!
The only good thing was when Lor talked with a spanish accent!
But this is only my opinion...

Anyway, hope that the nex episode will be better... (PLEEEASE!!!!) :embarrassment:

go_clo 11-12-2006 11:23 AM

Not enough Rory, sooo wrong. It was an ok episode but there was just way too much Chris and not enough Rory!

madelen 11-13-2006 03:50 AM

Martha Yeah, it was pretty boring...:look: I loved Lorelai speaking in the French accent too. :D

Chloie Yes, not enough Rory in this ep! Hopefully we get to see her more in this weeks ep.

This episode wasn't that great. Some season 7 eps are so slow. I guess as long as Rory is in the eps, I like them.
