Maybe but then it would've given us some great comedy. At worst RJ could only be distantly related by marriage when LL get married. They never seemed too concerned about it.

I definitely would have loved to see more scenes between the four of them, like in that Thanksgiving episode. Too bad that was a one time thing.

I loved the whole "hi hi hi..." exchange, especially when Luke had enough of it by the end of the episode.

Oh yeah, I loved how he finished that one. And then he goes into super protective of Rory mode.

But we know he loved RJ together.

He totally loved the idea of them but when they got together, reality sank in.

Nah, I'm sure he liked them together even though he was acting really ridiculous and very protective of Rory at times.

I love that scene in S2 when Lorelai asks him if there's anything going on between RJ and he gets so excited and happy about the idea of them. He was their number 1 fan!
