Because they are the main characters of the show!
Because they are the best mother/daughter team.
Because Rory gets a lot of things from her mom.
Because they always have their movie nights.
Because they both throw the best parties
Because it was too soon for either one of them to say goodbye
Because Lorelai gave Rory everything she needed
Because Lorelai is Rory's everything
Because they are going to miss eachother "so much!"
Because Lorelai would have broken down if she thought about Rory leaving...And she did

That was so funny and classic them I'm glad they did something like that at graduation it was only something they would do and I'm sure Emily didn't approve

I didn't see any of the other parents and students doing that

I loved how emotional Lorelai got too, she saw her baby so grown up and graduating
