I've never read any of the Percy Jackson books. Are they good?

I've only read the first Percy book. I thought it was good, but I guess it didn't leave me interested enough to pick up the next book.

the second movie Percy Jackson and Sea Monsters isn't doing great in theaters either

I hear it might end up doing better than the first...which is something I guess.

Won't be a big achievement because the first one did terribly bad. I'm surprised it got a sequel at all.

I'm glad it did because I know it's about money but it's good to give the whole story since there are fans who would want it

I heard fans weren't too happy with the first movie because they changed too many things from the book.

Yeah I think this one might look more like it though. Idk, I just always think book turned movie deserve a sequel when other movies get one when that story is simple Does that make sense?

I read the first book and saw the first movie and even though I'm not a hardcore fan I thought the amount of changes were ridiculous.

yea...I liked the book way better than the movie Rae... but seeing Medusa and the dragon in the movie as visuals were cool

So, did you guys go to see City of Bones? I might watch it on Sunday. Depends on my cousin.

And since we're on the topic of book to movie adaptations, I just saw the little Divergent teaser video and it looks really good. That got me excited for the movie.
