Divergent movie news: It was reported yesterday that Shailene Woodley is in talks to play Tris. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

in TSLOAT her acting is meh, but that could be because the scripts are also meh. in The Descendants she did pretty well sooo....I just don't know how to feel at this point

I think Shailene would do good in it. TSLOAT doesn't exact show her strengths at all but maybe she can pull that off.

I've never seen her act in anything so I don't really have an opinion on her acting, but I can kind of see her as Tris. My only little problem with her is that she's a bit tall for Tris, but I can deal with that as long as they pick someone over 6 feet for Four (who is not Alexander Ludwig

).

I'm always more concerned about the portrayal than the minor physical details so...it is kind of a bummer she's tall

The height thing won't make or break it, for sure. If she's convincing as Tris, I won't really care for that, either.

And I'm also not too concerned about Alexander. Meeting a producer doesn't mean that he's seriously being considered. And the fact that he posted about it on his twitter also makes me thing it's not gonna happen. I could see him getting one of the smaller roles, maybe, but definitely not Four.

I wont worry until the final casting decision and then I'll hold off on worrying until I see the performance

these book to movie adaptions can sure be stressful though

I saw rumors of Colton Haynes, too. I definitely like him better for the role than Alexander.

he would be a major upgrade and he did just leave the cast of Teen Wolf...which I didn't get why, but if he got a movie offer then maybe that would make sense

I finally got the last book in the Fever series but I hardly remember what happened in the first four, so maybe I should start with re-reading those.

I've never seen an episode of TW. Is he a good actor?

I'm not sure if I wanna read the spinoff series. I remember not caring that much for Dani, but maybe the last book will change my mind about her.
