aww, i think the opposite, i liked the book better. It just touched me in a way most storylines dont.

I watched the movie again yesterday, and i still love alexis in it. she was awesome.

Hmm I never thought about the change being for the better. It just bugged me that they made such a big change, lol. I guess maybe because it scares me because I can't wait to see some of the storylines from books 2 and 3 in the movies... but I'm afraid they'll change those, too, now.

yeah same here, the changes bugged me because if they change those things they'll have to change more in movie 2 and 3 (if they make them) to work with those. LIke at the end of movie 1 they made Bridget be all fine and okay again, when its not like that in the book and its sets up her story in book 2.

Right, exactly!

And they totally omitted Effie from the movie, will they keep her out of the next two? Which again, starts to change Lena's storylines a bit.

I guess we'll just see.
