Agree and disagree.

That she's young, pretty, and doesn't look like she'd bite your head off actually says she's probably sucessful in her given profession. Clean and pretty sells which is why she probably doesn't have to work the riskier but potentially more lucrative "night shift."

And the character is young and naive and out of place. Becky did look really out of place holding a gun and a tad nervous. But that is consistent with the fact the character was always showing revulsion towards violence and a rather wimpy attitude beforehand. I think they really did have Rory in mind when they cast Alexis.

However the words coming out of her mouth did sound a little out of place and I thought the chemistry between her and del toro was lacking. There wasnt as much of a spark between them as I thought there would be. And I think it might have something to do with how it was filmed since they might not even have filmed both of them at the same time.

I thought where her performance really did shine was in the scene with her and Rosario Dawson.

Her shift is over, she's tired and going home and there's an annoying costumer following her. Though, I got to admit the line "I've seen all shapes, all sizes" felt weird coming out of her mouth. She even seemed to be trying to convince him of that. She should have use a more bored, matter-of-factly voice for that line to show she wasn't impress with his attempts. Anyhow, overall it's a wonderful movie and Alexis IS great in it.

And what's the accent she's using in her scene with Rosario? Especially when she's saying "we gotta cut a deal with these people", she's got a strange accent that I've never heard her use before.

Kelly - it definitely is worth seeing. Even if just for Alexis.

But it's good otherwise too.

It's a bit gory, but you can watch those scenes from behind your hands. That's what I did.

Hmm..about the accent...I remember that she talked with some kind of accent, but I can't remember it. It was probably a part of her character.

i don't know why but I don't think that Sin city is such a good movie.Everyone said it's the movie of the year ,yeah ok it is different from others but I was kind of dissapointed when I saw it.

Well, it's not to everyones taste.

It's one of those movies that some love and some don't. I know it's not one of my favourites, but it was good. A big part of why I liked it (apart from Alexis, of course) was because it was visually really beautiful. I liked the black-and-white thing. And most of the cast were good too.

How did you like Alexis' performance?

That's what most people seem to like about here performance. That her role was so different from anything she has done before.

Yeah, though I love her in the sweet girl next door role too.

It will be interesting to see if her character in I'm Reed Fish will lean more towards the sweet girl or the sexy 'bad' girl role.

I only just got Sin City on dvd I haven't had chance to watch it I can't wait to see Alexis in a completely different role

Sin City is a good movie, so I hope you enjoy it Emma

It was really well made. And Alexis did a great job, of course.
