Gilmore Girls: Rory's Dance (1.09)

Synopsis: Rory asks Dean to accompany her to a formal dance at Chilton, but the lovely evening is spoiled when they fall asleep together after the dance, leading to a fight between Rory's grandmother and her mom over who has been a worse mother.

That fight was just so emotional all Lorelai's fears come to the surface she doesn't want Rory making the same mistakes.

I loved how she was defending her daughter against Emily but then she completely flipped the switch when Rory walked in

That was brilliant all the things she said to Emily defending Rory then as soon as Emily is gone she rounds on Rory and completely flips!

It was and Rory was so shocked as she just heard Lorelai defending her then all of a sudden it turns to her

Their second major fight we see them have silly fights that pass but they hadn't had many big bust ups. So its really powerful and emotional when we do see them
