This is one of my fave S1 episodes

I love how you see Rory and Richard bonding throughout the episode and the Rory/Lorelai scenes are awesome too. Can't wait to rewatch this one

I think thats what it was aswell. Lorelai never really got the chance or had that much in common with her father to bond.
