I really like them together and don't want them to perminately split up or anything, but I would like their marriage to have a little more problems than her mistakenly thinking that he's had an afffair. I mean, Carlos and Gabby were divorced for over a year, Mike and Susan have been on and off constatly, and Bree and Orson had some problems when she found out he ran Mike over and stuff. But Tom and Lynette have never really had any big problems as far as their marriage goes.

I think MC always said... through all of it... Tom/Lynette will always overcome any obstacle. He made them the couple that fight to stay together and overcome any objections or circumstances. And I kinda like that sort of stability in the show. I feel like I can relate to that through my parents, who have stayed together and haven't re-married or split up. It appeals to a different audience/demo, honestly.
