Apparently, it's been confirmed. Ausiello is saying that DH will have 4 to 5 episodes to air in April/May. Thank Jebus!

"We're back and it's like we never left," Longoria-Parker told PEOPLE Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles while accepting a donation for the children's cancer charity, Padres Contra El Cancer. "We were such a well-oiled machine before we broke so stop was jolting." Having dismissed pregnancy rumors in January by pointing to her strike-induced indulging, the Desperate Housewives star is back to her work health regiment. "I'm working out, I'm eating my healthy food I get prepared," she said with a sigh. "It is so much easier being in shape when you're on the show because you have a chef and the gym is right there, so you really have no excuse." Fresh off a plane from San Antonio, and heading to catch a place to New York, quality time with husband Tony Parker may be limited, but the actress is still in honeymoon mode. "We've only been married seven months so I hope the spice is alive on it's own!" she laughed. Along with her work on the show, Longoria-Parker has another her new Latin restaurant Beso opens in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Moore not joining Desperate Housewives Sunday, 02 March , 2008, 14:18 Academy Award nominee Julianne Moore will not be part of hit TV show Desperate Housewives as rumoured, her representative said. Hopes were high when reports stated that the Nine Months actress would be joining the popular series. Moore's representative cleared the confusion, saying: "That report is false. Julianne will not be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives." Moore, however, will soon be starring in a drama called Blindness, which will be released in August, pagesix.com reported.

HATCHER UNFAZED BY SINGLE STATUS DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star TERI HATCHER is in no rush to walk down the aisle - because she's enjoying single life too much to worry about marrying. The twice-divorced actress, 43, has a 10-year-old daughter, Emerson Rose, from her nine-year marriage to actor Jon Tenney and insists she's content with her batchelorette status. Hatcher says, "There are plenty of men in my life, and they're all special. Seriously - I'm doing fine just the way I am. "The other day I was talking to a girlfriend who was turning 40. I asked her how she was feeling about it, and she said, 'It's funny, when I was 39, I was going through all the stress of, oh God, I'm not married, I haven't done this or that... But now I'm actually 40, I feel great. I feel powerful, like I've lived and learned a lot.' "And she was right. It was good to be reminded of that."

Desperate Housewives' Marcia Cross talks working motherhood Herald Sun ; by Darren Devlyn SHE is ecstatic now, but there was a time during the second season of Desperate Housewives that star Marcia Cross was wallowing in pessimism. Though the 43-year-old psychology graduate felt at the peak of her professional powers playing Wisteria Lane's uptight Bree Van De Kamp, Cross's life away from the high-gloss soap was less sanguine. Cross, who in 1993 lost her partner, actor Richard Jordan, to a brain tumour, had long since withdrawn from dating. She had convinced herself she would never marry and had almost given up on her dream of having children. Then she met stockbroker Tom Mahoney, who had a profoundly positive impact on Cross's psyche. Odd as it seems, Cross was falling in love with Mahoney at the same time as newspapers started publishing rumours she was gay. Troubled as she was by the scuttlebutt, Cross felt it would be undignified to make a public statement clarifying her sexuality. ‘‘I was not going to (name Mahoney) as proof of my sexuality,'' she says. ‘‘I was annoyed. I thought, ‘That is nobody's business'.'' Cross ultimately achieved what she'd believed was impossible -- marriage to Mahoney in 2006 and birth to twin girls, Eden and Savannah, last February. ‘‘I didn't think I was going to meet anybody. I sort of let that go. It has made me believe in miracles,'' she says. Motherhood, she had imagined, would not come naturally. Before exchanging vows with Mahoney, Cross had started exploring the possibility of adoption. Falling pregnant, she confesses, caused headaches for the show's creator and executive producer Marc Cherry, who was forced to pull threads from the show's plotlines and order his production crew to work around Cross's ‘‘bump''. Is it true Cross has promised Cherry she won't get pregnant again while on the show? ‘‘I did . . . but I looked at my girls this morning and I was like, ‘Where are your brothers!' '' she says with a laugh. ‘‘Because I think in twos, of course, so there has to be two (boys). I don't know . . . I'm a little long in the tooth. If I were 36 I would have never promised that, but I'm 45. ‘‘I just wanted to have kids. I wish I'd met my husband earlier. It's sad to have it so late because you want to be alive as long as possible for them. It's math, you know. (Motherhood) is a lifelong process and you really want to be there for them.'' Cross has maintained the crease-free, porcelain complexion for which she is famous on screen. She insists, however, there is no special secret to how, in the middle of a huge professional and personal workload, she manages to look so fresh. She has hired a nanny to care for the twins while she's on the Housewives set. And she takes care of her skin. ‘‘I live in a hat . . . I don't go in the sun,'' she says. ‘‘After the birth, I took a one-hour class. I still take it. Half an hour on the treadmill and then half an hour of weights and lunges, and that really seemed to help. It's really a great class and that seems to do the trick. With diet, it's one decision at a time . . . ‘Do I want to eat that? Can I eat that? No, I can't eat that'. ‘‘We all do it. It's every single day, every hour of the day because if I could, I would just eat everything. I craved food in general (during pregnancy). I was starving the whole time. I was like an alien creature.'' Cross couldn't be happier with life on the Housewives set. Her castmates, she adds, are thrilled to have her back after her short break at home with her babies. Time away from work taught her that quitting acting or giving it away for an extended period to concentrate on marriage and motherhood would probably have left her unfulfilled. ‘‘I wouldn't have been a happy girl if it was just the show and probably I would be a little frustrated if it was just my kids, though I'm such a happy mother,'' she says. ‘‘Schedule-wise it's been working out very well. If I work a couple of long days in a row, I take my girls (to work). And even though I can't sit on the floor and play with them all day, I'll change their diapers or hang out with them and run back and forth.'' Cross's eyes light up when asked if being a mother is as she'd imagined. ‘‘It's a million times better . . . I didn't have the capacity to imagine how phenomenal it is. It's really rocked my world,'' she says. ‘‘Take your greatest love affair and magnify it as much as you can imagine and it's like that. ‘‘It really cracks your heart wide open. It also makes you feel incredibly vulnerable because ‘oh, my God, should anything happen' (to her children). It's amazing.''
