Evie - For the 'page not found' result, could that be because it was uploaded from my computer?

I do have another suggestion...of course...

I know the whole changing your user name thing is pretty much a no, unless you are a moderator, just because if everyone does it, you loose track of people.

But could an exception be made that a person can change their user name ONLY ONCE. Then when/if they become a moderator, they have the 3 times option?

If it's a no, I completely understand why, but I've noticed it always seems to be a topic of interest, and just wanted to through the suggestion out there.

If your worried about people constantly changing their name, you could maybe limit the amount of time they change it to 3.

Then, if they really want to, you could renew you 3 changes by a moderater manager of someone.

I already suggested something similiar.

I don't think so, every icon I've ever used I've uploaded directly from my computer. It could very well be the case if you've uploaded your icon from something like photobucket and then deleted it though.

User name changes have to be done in the Admin Control Panel by our Site Administrator. He was getting 30 requests a day so it was just too much.

Is it possible to allow indivdual users to change their user names in their User CP's? Or is it impossible?

Those do get cleared out as part of routine maintenance.

No, that's not possible with this software.

I'm assuming the name change thing is being discussed. It's a major 'issue' that's brought up constantly, so I wonder if there can be any compromise to it.

I posted a month ago that when members reach 100,000 posts they'll be allowed a name change.

Hey..

At the top of the page there is this Navigation bar ("You are here" and the scrolly box)..
that bar was at the bottom of the page too, but it vanished some weeks ago..

and I really really miss it.. it was great wafter reading or answering a thread I could immedietly go somewhere else .. now I have to scroll up the page or at least press the top button (to which I have to scroll down).. I wanted to know if it was possible to have that bar back????

Rachel removed it several weeks ago to help improve performance of the site. Apparently it used a lot of resources to have it twice on each page. I suggest you use the "top" button at the bottom of the page to get back up to the drop down menu.
