Hmm, that's a good point, it may be the case but if we look at the forum rankings then the top celebrity boards arent for TV show actors but for actors from a movie/series or a book one (Kristen Stewart) also the amazing amount of posts that The 90s board has had in its first month goes to show just how enthusiastic fans are when it comes to variety

As I said, the lack of submittions this month might have been because people dont want their favourites to go head to head, or maybe they just forgot submittions were taking place

but we cant deny that the polls have always had a large number of voters and the boards are well recieved, so I dont know, what harm can a trial run for the movie/book series poll have?

There will be another Special Requests poll in January.

In the meantime, I suggest that you do your best to keep the campaigns for the boards you'd like to see added active. When we're only getting 5 or 6 submissions, adding more polls isn't very likely.

The new shows category is for the shows that are voted in via the fall tv shows poll once a year, the ones voted in the normal tv shows poll we have once a month get added into the normal new boards category

The difference is because of how they're originally added, and subsequentially how traffic is assessed.

Sorry, neglected to respond here. It's being considered. The Fan Art board has always thrived here while this is the second time Fan Fiction has struggled.

Yes, but the average FF user doesn't know how the board was added or how traffic is assessed. To most users that is just mumbo-jumbo. They just know it's hard to find certain boards?? Just my 2 cents.
