As I mentioned elsewhere, the signature limits were set to keep sigs about the same height as avatars.

Look at my current siggy. I tried adding color to it and it said I was over 5 lines. Any ideas, since I am not even close to 5 lines. LOL

the writing itself isn't what counts it's how many lines total. so if you have a ton of code for color and stuff that'll add up to 5.

Without the '*'.

OR you can press the icon that looks like the world and a link in front of it.

If you can't find it, you and guide your mouse over the icons until you reached the one that saids 'Insert Link'.

LunaSolTierra - Just to add what Tina mentioned. The "Insert Link", the option you use, is the third to last icon on the 'quick reply' tool bar.

Mel - Try copying your signature. Delete it and save it, then go back and paste and save it again.

Sometimes it saves the last used information and thinks there is more when there is not.

Also clear your cache.

And remember that the signatures are only supposed to be the height of the icons/avatars

^^ Yeah, I noticed mine seemed large, so I edited it.

I think the indent tool spaces the signature quite a bit.

Thanks Marilyn,

I was trying to just give my signature a look with the indent. I liked that each line could be just a little bit further indented than the last.

So it would look like this:

Cold Case

Johnny Depp
Paranormal
Ryan Reynolds

Icon

But the indent tool spaces the lines farther apart so the height is bigger than the allotted avatar height.
