Info Center - Signature problems! - Page 16

over the past couple of days i've notice that when i put something new in my sig it won't let me, it said that the sig has more than 5 lines but I only had 4 lines sometime even three lines.
it took three tries to get the sig that i have now to work.

I've never had this problem before but its being happening a lot lately.

You can try to fix it by taking everything off, saving it and then trying again. This usually works

It looks like you got your problem figured out, lynaem. Unless you still want it to be centered. Perhaps, you could do it like this to do everything you want:

Putting all the lyrics on one line and making the text size 1. That would work.

What you have to do is this:

[CENTER ][B ][COLOR="Indigo" ]Well I know I make you cry

Just put the line you want as normal straight after the center code instead of going to a new line, that way it will all fit, ... I think

thanks for your help i'm starting to like how I have it now

the only thing is that it keeps happening with whatever i put in, no matter the size or how many lines i have.
the other day i just wanted to put this in LEST WE FORGET and it said I had too many lines.

A lot of people seem to be having trouble with editing signatures lately. I've PM'd our System Manager to bring it to her attention and find out if anything has changed recently.

it gotten worse since there was that mayor maintenance done a little while ago near the start of the month i think. there was three straight days of it being down for maintenance or it was working slower than normal.

Everytime I try and change my signature is says that the BB code size value is too big,do you know what that means?

I wasn't aware of any recent extended outages. There's some routine daily maintenance, but if you check back a bit later the site should be running. Oh, if it was towards the very start of the month, it might have been because the software was building the monthly post count statistics.

Urg Urg Urg. I don't know why but when I look at my sig right now after a post, it looks like four lines. I went back to add something but then I decided against it and deleted it but now my sig won't allow me to go down a line after it says "being tickeled"(as it was before) even though if I did it would only be five lines...

EDIT Now my signature isn't show up at all.

Please help?

This is what I want the signature to look like:

Nate&Serena
...a series of hysterical giggles penetrated the din...
He'd recognize that sound anywhere...
Listening to Serena's laugh was like being tickeled...
It made him see stars&lose his coordination...

It shows up in my "edit signature" preview pane but nothing else.

Have you tried deleting all of your signature, then saving it like that, then adding what you'd like it to say again? Sometimes it works that way

Signatures are always a struggle for me

I'd suggest deleting it altogether, too, and re-trying
