| Pictures Not Displaying I am wondering if the picture img code has been disabled? I pasted a url into a post on one of the boards here at FF and made sure that the link had brackets with img inside. However, instead of the actual picture being displayed the link is visible. I clicked on edit to make sure that it was showing img in brackets and noturl. It was showing img. Are we no longer allowed to post pictures? __________________ Family Ties Seasons 1-5 on dvd!  | |||

| System Manager | I think the problem is that FF doesn't like your URL, because it has a ? in it (this is used to supply parameters to a webpage). For instance, if I link to my avi as I would normally, I get:  But if I change the URL slightly to look like yours, I get: http://www.fanforum.com/images/custo...tar2_1.gif?x=x Both links are valid, but I suspect FF interprets the second one differently than the first for security reasons. __________________ "Before I go, I just want to tell you you were fantastic, absolutely fantastic. | i've always been able to post pictures to fan forum until today.....my isp gives me a free web site with so much space for storage...and i'm still able to hot link to other forums besides fanforum with no problem............so what's up? edited to say...i found out the problem..it works now....  without img brackets it would look like this http://home.earthlink.net/~mukooh/GuysDolls.jpg the reason it wouldn't work was because the image function doesn't like the & sign....as in the below listed example....  | |||
