Yeah, we went inside the Natural History museum for a while (we were biology grad students, after all ), but didn't have time for the Air & Space museum. I really want to go there if (or better, when) I visit the city next time.
We also visited the Smithsonian Institution building ('the castle') for a while, since we spent most of our 2-week study trip at the Smithsonian Environmental Research Center in Edgewater (at the Chesapeake Bay, near DC), and the professor guiding us also worked at the Smithsonian. Those were the two most awesome weeks of my life.

Thanks, Lindsay. I love taking pictures of others too, especially if they don't notice I think most people look best on photos when they don't pose. At least I know I do. I uncounsciously do really unnatural things with my shoulders and eyes and mouth when I pose for photos

Yes, I love candids too. I have done quite a few that turned out really good. I hate my own candids of course.
