It was my 43rd birthday on Monday and my dad and I went to Liecester for a couple of days. We had lunch and dinner out with relatives and today my dad took me to Twycross Zoo! We had a great time. I took lots of pictures. Unfortunately I left my camera in the hotel room when we went for dinner, but I took a selfie just after I got ready. I took the other selfies when we arrived at the hotel.

Here's the first lot of photos from a selection I took on my birthday trip in Leicester and at Twycross Zoo. The last 6 pictures are of the medieval restaurant and grounds where we had dinner with our family.

What kind/type of food do they serve?

It's a pub restaurant and they do a good variety of meals, and you get a good plateful too. I'm a veggie, so I can't comment on the meat dishes, but I always enjoy my meal there. This time I had veggie lasagne with garlic bread and salad.

I've been experimenting with my arts, now I've finally found out some of the basics of using layers. Here are a few composite pictures I made recently. The first one is from a couple of photos I took of the restaurant we went to on my birthday. I've used blending, colouring etc. I'm experimenting with my icons too, some of which I posted on my art thread.
