I don't have any work this week, so tomorrow I'm going to visit my Grandparents... tuesday I'm going to hang out with my best friend and I'll probably do more job search stuff for the rest of the week. Anyone else got any plans?

My birthday meal out today was a bit of a let down. We were at the restaurant SO long because the service was really really slow

(it looks like there were only 2 waiters in the whole place!) but I did get my mussels and they were awesome.

Jen, Sucks that service was slow. But did you at least have fun?

Chris, you guys needed an emergency delivery? We never really needed that. We almost ran out of... well almost everything and I guess they had a delivery today. But I'm not really sure, since I only work there on saturday and sunday.

I hate my neighbours! I was trying to sleep saturday night when all of a sudden our lovely neighbours upstairs decided to listen to some music and crank the noise up. I live on the 3rd floor and they live on the 5th. So I got angry and annoyed and went up there to ask to turn the noise down. And so I rang the doorbell and I rang and I rang and I kept ringing and he wouldn't open up. So I started to walk away when all of a sudden he opens up and says "hey" and so I ask him (slightly annoyed and not so nice) if he could turn the music down because I was trying to sleep. I had to get up early the next morning because I had to work. So I crawl back into my bed and he turns up the music again. I got so sick of it, that I ended up calling the police.

I spent the day with my Grandparents today. I got the tube to their place and then Dad picked me up after work. Nanny and I watched School of Rock, National Treasure and The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor and she really enjoyed them. The only bad thing is that when I go there, they give me toooons of stuff to eat that's bad for you.

When I got home and checked my email I got my first job rejection letter

I didn't even really want the job, but wow those letters make you feel crappy.

It's been a long day. I'm ready to sit in front of the television for a while before going to bed.

On one hand, it's nice to at least hear that you didn't get the job, but it's never nice to receive those letters/emails. David had one last spring that implied that if he had been serious about the position, he should have applied earlier. Sure the posting had been up a couple of days, but the deadline was still over a week away. It just seemed to rub salt in the wound, so to speak.
