Welcome to the Newbies Cafe

The Newbies Cafe is for any new posters who may or may not be unsure about posting on Fan Forum. It is a welcoming place where members (new AND old!) can chat about absolutely anything.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask them here, if you would like to introduce yourself, we would love to hear all about you! If you're not sure what to say at first, you could just request a drink of any kind, it is a cafe after all.

Hm, I don't know what causes them. I had some bad ones when I was 13, 14 years old and I went to the doc and he did some bad things in my nose to stop them. This hurted so much, I won't do this again. I didn't have nose bleeding since this night...so I don't know!

About the nose bleeds... your story seems like my sisters... exactly the same way... she also went to the doctor when she was like 17 and he made something in her nose that hurt a lot and said she had thin vains that's why she bled a lot...

well I see you as the BEST... but as we're Anns and so that we both stay happy and right... I'll let me think that we're both the BEST!

Chris, good to know that the fireworks were so great... I know you were expecting them!

The town put on a wonderful fireworks display last night.

They could have spaced them out a bit more so the sky cleared in between and it would have lasted longer.

Izzie-Ann Honeybee...when you bring me Mr. Clooney I think I will collapse! Yesterday I talked with my mum what she'd do when she meets a celebrity. She said she wouldn't be able to talk a word and I think I would be the same!

I hope that my nose is okay now...I really don't want to go to the doc again

meeting a celebrity... I have and i acted the exact same way as your mum said... I met a portuguese football player, a portuguese writter and some Tv artists and just became speechless...

and I admit that difficult in me!

Hm...you could tell all of my bosses that they should send me home or that they should stop that damn long working hours...that would be a great idea. Btw...it's extremely hot today here in Vienna. Ice cream would be great too, but I don't want to go out in that heat!

Which portuguese football player did you meet? I've met some Austrian football players, but they are not the big celebrities to get nervous. I just asked them for an autograph!

I met Kennedy a football player that got world wide known for the worst reasons in the world Cup of 2002, he was playing for my club (Sport Lisboa and Benfica) at the time... and I have his autograph too on the back of a college sylabus...

Fatima, It happened to me once... now i recall it... it was such a bad memory that i must have shout it down...

... but yes.. it is... my luck was that i was passing a caoffe house and I asked to enter and go to the toillets clean it up... or i don't know how I'd get home with some dignity left...
