Aw that sounds very respectful Fatima. Making a difference definitely a good thing. And thank you. People have always said I would make a good teacher because Im very patient and approachable so I hope I will do a good job.

Haha, did you get sunburn? whereabouts do you live? Its boiling here (england) so I chilled in the garden for a bit with my rabbit.

I did get a sunburn. I am so embarrassed. One side of my face is redder than the other. My mum laughed when she noticed.

I live in Holland, near the Hague. If you live in England, then we are sort of neighbours.

Hi! I'm not a newbie, but I'm new to this board, I didn't realize it existed until last week even though I've been on here for close to 4 years

Just thought I'd join in on the conversation!

I can definitely sympathize with your sunburn, *Fatima*, I get awful sunburn a lot.

I used to want to be a teacher, then I realized I wouldn't be able to handle so many kids at once. It definitely takes a special kind of person to have that much patience

Theresa I will try to give any advice on teaching that I can, but I teach college (so these are adults), not little children

Hence why I said earlier that I'm not sure I can do that ....

I don't think I'd be able to handle teaching college either. I'm a college student now and some of the people I'm in classes with are worse than small children. What subject do you teach?

OMG exactly why I wont teach secondary. Some of these teens (and adults too) can be incredibly difficult to get on with. So I prefer kids!

Well I realised I wanted to work with kiddies when I started working at nursery. It was just really cool to have them respond to me. I taught some of them to read and they'd call me Theresa or Resa and it was very sweet. And ive done placements at infant school and I loved working with the 5 year olds.

Thankyou all for your sweet comments . I guess talking here will be one of the good ways to increase my posts number , and if i got over 100 posts then i will be able to keep an avatar for my self ..

Too bad , some sections of fanforum is not opening with me and i already wrote to rachal and i hope she will be able to fix it for me .

I will just write some ranom thing here :

I have been shifted to a new school which i hate very much .. becouse i am a foriegn person , i mean that in my class all are arabs and i am the only one who is Afghan . and i get into troubles alot becouse of that .. so , currently i am on vication , and only one month is left for me to go back to school which i dont want at all .. i am always haveing a nightmares of this school . DUHHHHH !!

I cannot believe a vication of 3 and half months is going to be over so quickly

Soon as my problem gets solved here , i will start opening threads .

and i hope you all come to my thread and leave your comments in it

Finally I can get online!

It was SO hot yesterday here, I loved it! I sat outside and read The Host

I also went to see The Dark Knight, I thought it was good, but not as good as everyone has been making it out to be.

I'm going to see The Dark Knight in a few hours - I'm very very excited. I've heard from a lot of people that it's absolutely incredible, but then I've also heard that it's just okay. I have a feeling that I'll really like it

hope it gets better soon! The weather here in Holland has been incredible in the last few days though, hasn't it?

I came at just the right time! My friends have all been joking that I really did bring the sun with me, because I arrived just when it got better

Yeah I had a good time

we had lunch at her place, she had prepared lots of delicious things

and yeah, our birthdays are not even a week apart

for us it's fun, but our mutual friends aren't too thrilled about it because July is an expensive month for them, what with buying us gifts

Now I'm waiting around for my best friend to call that he's in town so I can go meet up with him... His girlfriend will also join us, and I've never met her before so I'm a bit nervous about that

Carol, it's weird because my legs didn't get burned at all. And I used SPF 20, I thought it was enough. Next time I'll try SPF 30 or something.

Val, maybe you did bring the sun with you. The weather has been incredible. I love it. I missed the sun. But I hate my sunburn.

I can imagine. I'm fair skinned and burn easily. A few times I've been able to see the outline of my fingers after I've burned. Proof sunscreen really does work.

Theresa & Carol - I think college would be my preferred age group. Also, the since the students are paying for their education at that point, there's some indication that they're interested and there to learn.

My hair is getting poufy with the humid weather we've had lately. I'm going to see if I can get it cut this morning. also check the local bookstore to see if they're offering a decent price on pre-orders for Breaking Dawn, otherwise I'll get it ordered from Amazon.

ETA - glad that you're having fun Val. I'm sure your time with your friend and his girlfriend will go well.
