Is there like a minimum number of apps a board has to get? What if only one person applies for a board? Do they automatically get it..or does the deadline extend?

It depends Jenn. They may either extend it or get the only applicant. It depends on those reasons listed up front the first post. If the applicant does have the quality of a future mod, then I think they can appoint him/her even if he/she's the only applicant.
That's based from experience. but if they have a different process, then just disregard what I had posted.

Thanks Gay.

Jenn- a member doesn't automatically get a position if they are the only one that applied. They'll get it if we decide they're the best one suited for the position or we may decide to extend the deadline to see if more apply so that we can have a wider selection to choose from. As Gay said above, it just depends on the situation
