I had an idea for this thread. What if we add some more questions to the intro? Some fun ones (not that these arent fun but they are typical

). These questions are similar to the ones on the other boards here. Since this is the board that people introduce themselves to FF in general, I thought be fun to have some others! What do you guys think?

They didn't have to be funny, just some other intersting ones. Maybe some questions that can help us direct newbies to more places on FF. Or quesitons that can direct attention to the boards we have here. Like:

Which of the

female celebrities are your favorite?
Which

musical artist do you own a cd for?
Which of the past

tvshows did you watch?
If you could bring one of the past

shows back, which would it be?

Or if the FF questions don't work, then just some similar to the existing ones that are a bit more specific like:

Why did you choose your username? What does it mean?
What kind of computer are you using FF on?
Last movie you saw?
Song you listened to?

I think these types of questions might make each newbie feel special in their own way when introducing themselves. I mean lots of newbies love the same shows and musicians but the chances that they are listening to the same song, or saw the same movie is smaller. And we could have more conversations and welcoming topics

I think that the new questions would bring something nice and new into the intro

How did you choose your username? What does it mean? it's part of a Silverchair song: painting a lie, seeing the colours but you seem closer to everything
What brought you over to FanForum? I was looking for Lord of the Rings stuff, stumbled across the board for it we used to have, and decided to register. The rest is history

Which of the female celebrities are your favorite? I don't post on any of them but I'd have to say Eliza Dushku and SMG.

Which musical artist do you own a cd of? none of them, actually... But I listen to Snow Patrol and The Killers quite a lot

Last movie you saw? Did you enjoy it? Atonement. I had actually expected a lot more of it, I didn't hate it but it wasn't really my kind of film.

the only thing I'm a bit worried about is that if it's too long of a list, people might find it a bit daunting to fill it all in. Maybe we could have one basic list of questions with name/age/location/interests etc, and then under that an optional list with these questions? So that people can fill them in if they feel like it, but don't feel obligated to do it? Does that make sense?
