That was probably a feature of IE7Pro. You might want to search for an add-on that does just that on google. I'm sure someone has made one already.

I don't remember making any changes to my Firefox lately, so I'm really not sure why this is happening any ideas?
I haven't seen any other concerns about timing out the past few days. Anybody else who's using Firefox having issues?

Valerie, I have the same problem also. Sometimes it's for me and sometimes my net is slow. But I know there have been times when my net is working fine and is still slow for me in Firefox.

I have an issue with the FireFox ext DownloadHelper

Normally you can use it to grab MP4 copies of YouTube files but recently they made changes and DownloadHelper released an update 4.6.1 which worked for a while but now on my Mac I can't get the MP4s again, but only on the Mac. Using the same version of FF and DLH on a PC running XP and it's fine. The only change I made recently on the Mac was to remove a file causing a conflict with flash web sites crashing the browsers.

ETA DownloadHelper just released another update 4.6.2 which looks like it's working. IMO it's a battle between YouTube and DLH. YT what people to come and keep looking at the videos online and others just want to have a copy on there computer and save the DL limit.

It looks like they're going to try to add a spellcheck to ie8 but it's definitely not available right now.

Looks like Microsoft still trying to catch up... just get FireFox, you can run more than one browser on a modern computer. I even put Safari on the PC and it works great.

Yes, I've had the same problem for days now. I cleared cookies etc. and updated to latest Firefox version (3.5.2), but it's still very very slow

I haven't had too many timing out issues of late but I have had some sites (like Apple) not loading on my Mac, on the PC they work and they both use the same connection to the internet.

Well, now suddenly it seems a bit better. Not perfect, but not as slow either. Let's see what happens.

Problems are back
Fanforum very slow even though I deleted cookies etc. again this morning.
Also, I have the small icon on the left saying that the threads have new messages since my last visit , but when I go to the lastest post, I've read that already

ETA: And only a short while after writing this..both problems are no longer. Hmmm.... Seems to be better during the day and then start over the next.
