Info Center - Firewall problem, I guess

Hi! I`ve been having this problem since...Saturday I guess and I sent an email through the contact option, but one of the mods said that I could post it here, so here I go. It`s a long story so I`m just going to copy the email I sent (I`m lazy

"I`m not sure if this is the right way to do this, but I`ve been having this problem with certain threads on the Fan Extras-->Off topic board and somebody told me it was a good idea to report it, if it persisted, which it did. Hehe, I`ll explain the problem now. When I open certain threads on that board, I get a message from my firewall that there has been a break-in attempt (something with data over-flow) and then I can`t go on the forum for about...an hour I guess. It started yesterday when I wanted to post my mood in the "Smilie that best describes your mood" thread and today I was reading the "I love..." thread and it happened again. I`m trying to find out if maybe it`s the signature of one of the users there or something like that. I have no idea what else it could be, but it`s annoying hehehehe. Anyway, somebody at the CSI board said that it was a good idea to report it. No idea if you can do something about it, but now you know."

So that`s my problem...I never had this problem before and I`ve had this firewall for a year. However I never went to the OT board before...

Have you recently installed any new software, or scanned your system recently for Viruses/Worms etc.? Have you scanned it recently for Spyware?

Does this happen consistently when you visit the same page twice (if so, could you provide a link), or is it more random than that? If it's not something like a virus or spyware, it could be related to the particular ads you're being served on the page, which change all the time.

Hm...the only thing I installed recently was a PopCap game...I installed it a few days before I started visiting the OT board.
I`ll check for a link, copy it and save it somewhere, because I can`t go to the forum for an hour then...I`ll edit this post later to add a link.

It did happen consistently on one of the smilie threads and on another, that`s how I realized it wasn`t just a random break-in attempt, but something from that page.

Edit: The message I get is the following:
Intrusion: ICC Profile TagData Overflow
Intruder: www.fanforum.com (67.15.22.7)(http(80))

I had a link, but I forgot to save it, but I remember the page. Off Topic --> How many brothers/sisters do you have --> page 4. I got the same message there this morning. Oh, and I scan my computer for Spyware every week or so...
