hey mods! I was wondering if I could start a time line thread of some sort on this board. I could perhaps structure it like a calender on the op and when something significant happens on (IE: new boards added, server upgrade, board closed, affiliate added) I can add it. This way, we can keep an accurate history of what happens. Also, I know lots of posters, myself included are curious about things like that. If any poster or admin who remembers when a board was opened, or another important event occurred, it'll be put on the time line. I could start with the year FF was opened.

I think it'd be a fun thing to add to the info board. Especially with the addition of the Affiliates team just recently. Maybe sites could look at our timeline and see the growth of our community and factor that into their decisions. And in the longest run, I think keeping an accurate history is vital for any endeavor. Our history is one to be proud of and to be shown off. Would that be okay with you guys?

We have a list of when all the boards were added in the Tour Guide I think that anything like that would fit in that thread, actually. So if you have any suggestions for things to add to it, feel free to share them! But I don't think we need a separate thread for things like that, personally.

What about incorporating some of these into the calender on the top of the page? I think the calender we have topped is great with displaying birthdays and such already, but could further utilized. Would that be a possibility?

i am trying to add Visit Keri Russell thread as a link in my sig line. the url will not come up as that when ive saved it--it still shows as the url instead of Visit Keri Russell thread. i tryed basically copying and pasting the address from the thread then im clicking on add link in edit signature. not working. what am i doing wrong?
