I have a question...I was sending in a mod application and when I pushed send the thing tried to make me register or something for it. i'm not allowed to register for things....is there anyway to get around this in order to send in my application?

okay, I clicked on the modd apps link and got an email link so I entered the suggested subject line and my application. then when I pressed send it wanted my display name, my email address. and it wants me to set up email servers!

Ah okay, you are just setting up through default settings. Do you have an email address? If so, just copy paste the mod email into your own email message and send it that way instead of clicking the link.

That happens when there's an exceptionally heavy load on the servers. Usually, just try again in 5 or 10 minutes. If it's prolonged, you could post/check at the Yahoo Group for Mods. Regular members could check in at the Live Journal group here. I think there's also something on Facebook, but I don't have a link for that. Any of those sites should have further information if there are unexpected issues.

Database Error - Occur daily around 9AM GMT when some routine site maintenance is scheduled. Otherwise, you might get this message when there's an exceptionally heavy load on the servers. Is there any way I can get permission to use the search function? I've been trying to use it every time I move up a level in posting, but that doesn't seem to help. I still get the "you don't have permission to use this" message.
