You can only close a thread if you are a moderator manager or the moderator of the board. But if a thread has reached 300 posts you can go ahead and just create the new one and when the moderator signs online, they will close it. To create a new thread, simply click the orange "Post New Thread" button that is on the bottom left of the page if you are in a thread or on the top of right the page if you are at the boards main page. Lemme know if you still need help.

But is there away to have the date as DD-MM--YYYY instead of the current MM--DD--YYYY.

M = Month
D = Day
Y = Year

Hi I'm pretty new here also and I usually post in Books or Bones boards, so I was not exactly sure if this should go over here because it is not technically a problem but it is a question , so here it goes...
I was wondering if there is a way to change my log-in ID/nick and if there is, how would I go about doing that?

Only moderators, graphic team members, affiliates team members and posters who have over 100,000 posts can have their username changed once a year. Sometimes the management team organizes a competition where you can win a name change, most recently the Easter Egg Hunt.

I don't subscribe to any threads, so I'm not familiar with the subscribe and unsubscribe option. I do know that sometimes I've had problems with I'd try clicking that link again in a few hours. If that doesn't work, try to unscribe again and see what the new link sent to you does.

Everything dealing with subscriptions is in your usercp at the top left of the page. And scroll to the bottom where the boards you've subscribed to are listed. Just click the "Unsubscribe to forum" under the name. Same goes for subscribed threads.
