As for what I was saying, it is possible that it is your web browser that isn't remembering your password and thus is requiring a password every time. Try one o these:

If you are using firefox:
Go to FIle>Preferences and then click the "Security Tab". Make sure that Remember Passwords for sites is checked.

In Internet Explorer:
I found a great troubleshot page with pictures on what you can try if IE isn't remembering your passwords: Internet Explorer: “Remember my password” ticked, doesn’t remember password? .

Let us know if one of those works.

The "remember me" box is checked. I'm using FireFox and I don't see any preferences under File.

Oops sorry, I have a mac computer, so the menus are different. Is it under tools> options > the privacy tab> passwords?

Almost

tools> options > Security Tabs. Then you'll see the Remember Password for site checkbox. Make sure that's check, almost verify the Exception and Saved Password buttons to see if FF ended up in those lists. The most likely scenario is that it is in the Saved Password one.

Another thing you could try is manually logging out of FF, just click the Log Out button. Then make sure every Firefox is closed and come back here and log in with the Remember Me checked. That should refresh the cookies properly, I've seen them act weirdly sometimes.

I did what you said, but I went to the security tab and clicked remember passwords for sites. Is that right.
