I don't know about the Music poll but I know for a fact that the Special Requests one shouldn't be up there anymore since the polls for that were in June and are now only running every January (as opposed to the former twice a year).

There's nothing in the Special Requests poll at the moment, so that explains the error message there.

Keep watching for an announcement about new Fall TV Shows to replace that. As to Music, I'm not sure unless it was temporarily closed to investigate voting.

VanessaLapierre, you have to have 101 posts to upload an avatar. Once you reach 101 posts it may take a little while (from a few minutes to a few hours) to upload it, though. And after that, when you go to your User CP, there's a link to "edit avatar" where you can upload the icon you want!

I was wondering what happens if after a forum gets closed? For example, if an actor gets their forum closed does that mean they can't ever be requested again?

When a forum is closed, it's moved to the Closed category here. Closed forums can be brought back through the Requests system. Some examples of boards that have been reopened are Arrested Development, Heath Ledger & Fan Fiction. In the polls, requests for reopening a closed forum are listed in red, like Matthew Perry in this month's Celebrities poll.
