Fan Forum's Communications Team is in charge of two main areas to attempt to further and expand Fan Forum across the internet.


A f f i l i a t e s

The first area is affiliates. This is where your favourite websites are linked (affiliated) with the corresponding Fan Forum board. You can learn what "Fan Forum Affiliates" are and how to become one by reading our FAQ.

If you have a fansite or know of a website you would like to see affiliate with a board at Fan Forum, feel free to PM one of the Communications Team members (listed here) and they will ask for an affiliation. Only Communications Team members should contact the website owners and ask for an affiliation. Please note that we regularly seek affiliates for each board on Fan Forum via assignments so we aren't always able to accommodate requests though we do try our best to fit them in wherever possible.

S o c i a l N e t w o r k i n g

The second area that the Communications Team works on is within social networking. This revolves around posting the latest board updates, forum milestones and other important board events to Fan Forum's own social network pages

If you have a board milestone, interesting event or special occasion you would like to advertise, you can post it here and a team member will update the networks.

These are the current social networks that we update regularly - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & Tumblr.

B o a r d S p o t l i g h t s

Every month the Communications Team also selects 2-4 boards to spotlight on the networks. Team members will PM the mods of the boards selected, and create a post based on the information provided. The more fun and interesting the information, the better it is for your board.
