I hate seeing things in the shower because I'm very short sighted so I can't tell what they are.

It's nice and sunny out at the moment. It's supposed to be a cloudy day according to the forecast, so it's a nice surprise.

I miss playing with Lego with my son when he was little. Every year I pick out a couple of sets for the Christmas donation box.

My coffee maker stopped working this morning. Had to boil water in the kettle, then pour it through the basket of coffee grounds. Hubby is trying to fix it.

Chris, for emergencies, you should buy an aero press for when you don’t have a coffee maker around, all you need to is hot water and can make a pretty good cup!

I managed to dig on my allotment today, ready to plant stuff.

Hubby managed to get the coffee machine going, but says i should buy a new one. I'll get out to the store today.

Julie - gardening already? The ground is still frozen here.

Leanne - yesterday I just boiled the kettle, then poured the water through the basket/filter. It was a bit awkward, but it worked in a pinch.

March is a big planting month here. It is still cold but there shouldn't be too many frosty days, especially this far south west of England. I have planted potatoes and shallots already.

Woah, not until mid May here. Even then, there can still be a hard frost.
