I interviewed for the new position today that I applied for. I never know how well I do it but I seemed to have good rapport with the woman who id work with... she seems waaaayyyy more friendly and nice than the person I’ve has to work with the past two years who is a control freak. Praying I hear good news after the weekend

I don't envy you the thunderstorm, Chris! Luckily I've just had torrential rain without thunder and lightning. There was no damage to my allotment. This weather feels more like autumn than late summer.

I feel discombobulated cause everyone on the Internet is mourning him and I have no idea who he was. Then I learned he was in a Black Panther movie franchise, which I never watched at all.

It was like that when Paul Walker died too, apparently a really big figure that everyone knew except me but cause I never watched Fast and Furious franchise

Also with Heath Ledger... I must be out of the loop more than I think!

I had never heard of Chadwick Boseman before he died.

I'd only heard of Paul Walker because he took over from Josh Holloway in the tv advert for Cool Water.

I have been enjoying watching the US Open tennis.

Went out to the store this morning and got most of the items on my list. There was a bad accident at the next intersection down on the highway, just a bit further than I needed to go. A lot of people were diverting to go around it.

Accidents are always nerve wracking. I live on the main street in my town and someone got into an accident right outside of my building the other day due to inclement weather. Thankfully everyone involved was okay...but the sound of the cars screeching was definitely frightening.

They are. There was a different tragic one last night. Two teens were swept off the pier. An adult jumped in to help them. The teens survived, but the adult didn't.

That’s very sad, when people die being heroic trying save other people!

I think I’m sick today but it’s weird. Hope I get perfectly well before Tuesday cause that’s when work starts again.
