It's hot here too but a little cooler than it has been. I personally prefer the heat to cold weather though.

I think I prefer the cold. It's easier to get warmed up than cooled down if you don't have air conditioning. Add in a bit of humidity, and it's hard to breathe and the heat just feels stifling.
I've got a busy day. Appointment for mom this morning, then dental appointment for me this afternoon.  __________________

 Yes, some people prefer the cold over the heat. They usually give the same reasons you did as to why they prefer it.Moving away from winter was a great decision for me though. Now i get summer year round, which is perfectly fine with me. __________________

Its going to be a heatwave this week in lower BC. Fortunately today I'm working in an air conditioned building, but the rest of the days this week, will be non-air conditioned so I'll have to bring a fan and spray bottle of water to spritz myself while I work! Its gonna be hard!! Some of the rooms I work in are so stuffy and no air breezes when its hot out!
I didn't know Tim Hortons had a strawberry banana drink/smoothie. __________________

Peruto Rico was good - we really only visited the tourist areas. Unfortunately, St. Marteen is in horrible condition. Their #1 source of income is Tourism. They have to have their water imported as they have none.
 We want to go on another cruise later this year.  |

 Good morning all.I prefer the pineapple mango smoothies from McD's. Erin - a smoothie is like a milkshake but made with yogurt and fruit. Tina - I didn't realize things were so bad in St, Marteen. I'll definitely do another cruise. Did you have a destination in mind? I want to do the Panama Canal eventually, but think I'll try to talk hubby into the Med next.
