IKR? Sometimes I have a budget for what I'm gonna buy that day. But then I go see something else I like and I end up buying stuff that I'm not supposed to buy. We get our mid-year bonus next week + salary. Oh la la. That's probably why I splurged the other day.

I hate internet/cable bills. No way they should ever be as expensive as it is for what you get!

Anyone ever get a sore back from the flu? I feel like an old lady at work, I can’t even bend down or lift anything right now.

^^^ I know the soreness from flu feeling. So annoying! Hope you feel better though.

Something that helped me when I was sick last week, a hot bath with some Epsom salts. Helps to relax.

Lindsay - if you find things you like, it's hard to resist buying. Especially if you know that there's a bit of extra money on the way.

Leanne - I certainly wouldn't complain if the cable/internet bill went down, but I doubt that will happen. I hope your back is feeling better.

Millie - a walk at the beach is a nice way to relax.

The aches from the flu/being sick in general are definitely draining. I agree with Millie-a hot bath with epsom salts will help!

I doubt the internet bill will go down as well. People are paying it, and most don't want to live without it.

Lindsay, I have noticed when I go grocery shopping with a list, I have been spending less. I don't really go clothing shipping with a list unless it's something very specific I'm looking for (like a dress to wear to a wedding).

I normally don't splurge like that but I do love sales. But when I know more money is coming, that's when I go all out. I'm so glad someone understands my dilemma.

We're the same. I have a grocery shopping list because I am forgetful when it comes to things like that. But when it's clothes, I go big time especially during pay day.

I hope all is well with everyone. I've been very busy lately with work and other things, but for me it is a good thing. Between April and July, it usually is a hard time because most everything happening during this time is related to both of my parents, who are deceased. But, this year, with all I have going on right now, things are o.k., but for me, that is a good thing.
