Leanne - I think Doctor Who fans are used to the idea of the Doctor being recast every few years. Although as you say, going from a male to a female would be a bigger adjustment.

Sarah - yes, Star Trek has a long history of casting diverse characters, and having strong female role models.

I'm having a really bad hay fever/allergy day. I can't even go to the store I look like I've been crying all day. I'm carrying a Kleenex box with me in case of a sneezing attack (like 10 in a row) and also to constantly wipe my watery leaking eyes. Also stuffed up despite the sneezing. And I'm sniffing, in all, crying without the emotional component

Wow, feels awful! Can't really concentrate on anything else.

did I take anything... I'm awake st 2:30 am just make a note here that if allergy pills for hay fever say take one day than no matter how you feel like the first one isn't doing nothing do not take another one thinking it will make things better. Drowsy?? No... going to bed at 9 pm and sleeping and feeling deadweight? Yep. I'm wondering how long it will be til I can drive tomorrow for the double drowsy effect on my body.... so anyway, I'm typing through a haze of gotta go back to sleep cause my head, brain and body don't or won't or can't do anything but lay down feeling deadweight and sleepy

Is the smoke from the forest fires effecting you? This time of year I've got to take my allergy pills every day. If I don't, I regret it. I used to have some eye drops for itchy eyes and I think it's time to get some more of those.

Leanne I hope your allergies are better today. For me the nasal sprays work better than the pills. Flonase works wonders for my allergies when they are acting up.

Oh, they weren't even existent today... which makes me wonder why it was so harsh and unrelenting yesterday? I was breathing like a champ today! I got some allergy meds tho, just in case,,, and next time, I will not take two doses within 24 hours, that was not good

Chris, we aren't getting our air bad from any forest fires, but I can tell from looking at the sky that it's not good air quality out there. We really need some rain around here and it's been dry and sunny since July began,,, I can't even remember when we had a rainy day!
