 an article about it due to it popping up on my FB newsfeedNEVER  seen the show but I am happy  casting first female Doctor and bringing it into a new generation related to equal rights where should be interesting for DW fans  __________________

 wow, really? For the first time, Dr. who will take on the appearance of a woman? That's cool and quite a twist.I'm a bit worried for any Aspergers fans of Dr. Who... I haven't watched the show but a change that big could be... well something to really get used to when change isn't the easiest thing to get used to. I sometimes get annoyed a movie or tv changes a cast member but the character is the same (like Roseanne/Becky) and then the shows ruined for me. Or when Dorothy in an Oz movie is not Judy Garland. so I hope those fans of Dr. Who will be able to mentally adjust to the fact Dr. Who is the woman won't have too hard a time with a big outer appearance change like that __________________

The Dr. Has a short generation life span or something! So is the companion of the Dr. Still gonna be a woman too? If so, I might need to check it out cause it's making me remember how much I watched Xena cause of Xena and Gabrielle being a team

I always forget I was a borderline fangirl of Xena: Warrior Princess
I remember being into it enough to talk to friends about it and get a girl crush on Lucy Lawless  but never went full blown... but maybe I should do a rewatch and go crazy over exactly what Xena and Gabrielle were like together. so I'm intrigued if it will be a female team for Dr. Who.__________________

Sounds like a huge step
glad to see these decade old franchises do things like that Star Trek started in 90s and Star Wars now has been giving us Female leads So way to go DW even if never seen it __________________
