Leanne, I second what Chris said. Try not to worry too much about the spider.

Cece, enjoy summer camp!

Lindsay, are you actually watching Netflix? Netflix and chill is a completely different thing!

I also ran errands this morning. I took my pup for her to get her hair done, bought birthday presents for my mom and niece, went to the post office, went to Target, and bought gas for my car.

Phew! Got the rest of today and tomorrow to relax before a very busy first week of summer camp. Over 500 campers are going to be coming in our doors. But unlike my regular teaching job, I won't have to put too many hours outside scheduled work hours. Just need to briefly read the curriculum/activities for the next day each evening. It'll be fun!

I'll be watching Wonder Woman tomorrow morning with my cousins and sister. I wanted to go today, but had my training so couldn't. And I always go to the first showing of the day because it's cheaper. Thankfully the first showing is often after 9 or 10 AM, so not too early.

I'm afraid of big spiders, but small spiders are okay to me. I am bigger than that spider anyway! My teaching assistant would scream when she sees a spider in our classroom.

Sounds like a productive day, Lizzy!

I see big spiders on my floor a lot during spring and fall. I always get startled cause I'm an easily startible person when I see things that shouldn't be there and are ugly. But if I can't vacuum them at night I just let them go wherever they go. However, big or small, I have a major problem when they get in or on my bed. I don't want them touching me and m bed is supposed to be my safest place. I don't keep my bed touching any walls so things can't climb up but I guess it fell from the ceiling or my blanket on the bed was touching my floor. Ugh!

Good luck with 500 kids, Cece! Other than work, I like to remain child free on my breaks! But sounds like you won't have a boring summer!

Maybe after my find last night I should wash my sheets like Chris plans to as well,

There's nothing like sleeping in a freshly laundered bed.

Lizzy - sounds like you had a busy morning. And you reminded me that I still need to get a birthday card for my sister.

I got some gardening done today.

LEANNE! I can relate. I hate spiders.

Chris, I can only manage to watch 3 episodes at night. I really can't binge-watch, I get tired easily.

Lizzy, yes.

Cece, how did you find Wonder Woman? I'm hearing great reviews about the movie and some dubbing it as the best DC film yet.

It was amazing. I was laughing and crying and clapping inside. Gal Gadot did a phenomenal job. Definitely going to buy the BluRay when it releases! The tone of Batman v. Superman disappointed me, especially how dark Superman was. I haven't warmed up to Ben's portrayal of Batman yet either but looking forward to seeing him again in Justice League this November! I preferred Henry as Superman in Man of Steel and the overall tone of that. Wonder Woman stayed true to her message of hope, love, and strength. A great role model for all!

Wonder Woman reminds me of Xena Warrior Princess in her metal looking armour outfit!

Nice sunny day today, opened all my windows to get fresh air circulating. Did a pedicure and now my feet are so smooth, I'm kinda scared my own feet are gonna slip walking on tile floor!

What's worse? A spider hanging out on my baseboard or a centipede crawling around my floor?? Cause I got one of each hanging out with my this afternoon. I don't feel like picking either up in toilet paper so I'm letting them just be, although I really hate seeing the centipede! should I just let them be to entertain my cat? I hate spiders, centipedes and millipedes!

I did have a busy morning yesterday. This whole weekend has been pretty busy though I've spent this afternoon being pretty lazy and continuing my binge watching of Happy Endings.

Chris, did you get your mom's birthday card?

Good to know about Wonder Woman, Cece. I am going to see it on Thursday.

Leanne, ew! I would just get rid of them if you see them.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and a good start to the week.

I was very busy this weekend hanging out and then I got sick last night. I'm still feeling pretty crappy today so I called out of work. I feel guilty, but I know I needed it because I've been sleeping a lot

Leanne - I agree with Lizzy - squash the bugs and be done with them! Otherwise I'd be wondering where they were now.

Lizzy - no, I still need to get a card for sis. It's on my list for today.

Lindsey - congrats on joining the CT! I hope you're feeling better.

Cece - glad you enjoyed Wonder Woman. So far I've heard lots of positive word of mouth, and hope to see it sometime this month.

Lindsay - how are you today?

Cece, that seems to be the complaint for Ben doing the Batman movies. I have never seen any of those so I wouldn't know. Maybe it's also the stigma of doing Daredevil, which we all know really sucked.

Leanne, they're both the worse! Anything that crawls and have too many legs, I'm scared of them.

Lizzy, Happy Endings is on Netflix? I've just seen my favorite British TV show Misfits the other day and I'm so happy! I'm going to re-watch that soon.

Lindsey, I'm sorry you were sick. I hope you feel better now.

Pretty slow week at work which is what I need. I don't have work on Monday (local holiday) so yeah, I have a long weekend ahead.

Let's bow our heads and share a moment of silence for my floormate, the centipede! It expired last night, not sure if my cat killed it. RIP! (Don't know the current status of Spidey though!)

I'm confused with the multiple Lindse(a)y's now

How was your Mondays? Mine was fine, finally got stocked up on some food for the week!

Ben Affleck just looks like he is bored and tired. I feel his acting was very stale, if that's the right word? His Daredevil portrayal to me was better than him as Batman but he was also younger and had more energy. I understand Batman's attitude is a bit like he's just so done with the world, but Christian Bale gave Batman more depth and expressions. I compare Ben's acting to Johnny Depp's acting in the newest Pirates of the Caribbean. Very much like some teachers who have worked several years and come to work often grumpy and negative. Maybe the personal issues affected both of them. We know they've both dealt with things in their personal lives, relationship-wise.
