I'm about to go buy a new suitcase. My current one that I usually use has a broken wheel, and one of the compartments has a hole. It's definitely seen better days. I guess that means it has been loved.

I just came back from seeing the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie with my cousins. We went to see it at a dine-in restaurant with lounge chairs. So comfy! The movie was better than I expected.

So very excited for Wonder Woman next weekend!!

i have been in Portland, Oregon, for a month now, on a roadtrip job for my company, it rains a lot here, 3 hotels so far, hopefully this Residence Inn is the last one, but we just got extended to June 30 from June 17th. ugh. happy Memorial Day weekend everyone.

reason to believe

Lindsay, I get more blood drawn than I want to, with a cat that sometimes bites me really hard when he gets in a stalk mood and I don't catch it in time! But I rarely snag or stub my toes, fingers or skin on things and draw blood! I do bonk my head against things a lot!
I undid my bandage on my finger and now looking at it makes me uncomfortable it feels too exposed and I can see the dead skin from where the "cut" went and I'm wondering just how deep the slice went into my finger, but I don't want to re-open it or anything, just let it reattach as much as it can, even tho I don't like the looks of it right now. Ugh.

Awww, I'm sorry, you sound homesick and ready to be in your comfort zone again. I can never sleep well in beds that aren't mine or rooms that aren't my own either and it seems long to wait to get home. Maybe you can find some tv shows that are familiar and a comfort to watch for familiarity?

Lindsey, what were you watching on NFLX? I'm currently binge-watching Breaking Bad there. At least I try to because I can't seem to binge-watch on weekdays because of work.

Leanne, OMG cats. Did I tell you already that I don't like cats?

Lizzy, I used to travel a lot for work too but I'm just based on the office now which I prefer. I remember being assigned to a nearby city for a month and I'd go home only on weekends. I got homesick but I was booked in a hotel and given money every week so I don't really miss home a lot.

ETA: I got flowers today. That was a nice surprise.

At least you'll be back home next month.
