Leanne, sorry about that. Don't worry, having a routine job is just as stressful. Although I do come to work at any time and leave at any time I want to, it's still a 9-5 job because I come to an office and have meetings, etc. I get assigned tasks that are sometimes out of my restriction or should be done by my agents but not all the time and very rarely. There's a fine line with corporate management in my company so if we get an additional job within our scope, it's fine but we're limited to our job descriptions, especially for lower management.

Finally it's Friday! I love weekends (who doesn't?).

Leanne - try to remember that change isn't necessarily a bad thing. But like you, once I'm in a routine, I like to stick to it.

Rae - that's a good philosophy for life. Most things change eventually, and we just have to make the best of it.

Lindsay - do you have plans for the weekend?

Yeah Change is a good thing (not all the time though, ) I just struggle with it cause aspie brains like their routine and expected plan to continue... where in that is just general security since so many things in daily life just seem automatically stressful?

Speaking of stress. Back to snow for the next 5 days over here! Just after we got rid of the snow that was on the ground frozen for a month. Luckily, the next two days are the weekend so I don't have to drive anywhere. But there may be snow also on Monday. I don't mind it for the weekend though since its pretty only from indoors!

I'm drinking nice warm "chemical" coffee. Made in a Keurig, with powdered creamer and sweetener. As long as I get some energy, I think I don't care!

I don't think I've ever had plans for Valentine's day. And at first I was like "That's forever away why is she asking...??" but then I realized that it's already the 4th.

I'm a hermit for the weekend cause snow one thing I do like, is the brightness gives off good light for indoors! Very crisp and white. The drive home from work was kind of scary though.

Like Rae, I don't have Valentines Day plans. I observe "Anna Howard Shaw" day instead. the birthday of an early "woman's suffrage" fighter. (From "30 Rock", Liz Lemon is so defensive about her single-ness on V-Day, she changed it to Anna Howard Shaw Day instead )

Valentine's Day is also just another ordinary day for me as well but I do get my mom flowers for that day. There's also a noticeable amount of flower deliveries at work prior to or during that day. Which reminds me, I need to stock up on wine.
