a fine mess

We had a lot of rain yesterday! Due to the storm and pouring rain, our internet went out at work. So that was a sign to go home early.

Cece, looks like we have the same weather. We don't have a storm but one of Japan's storms is passing by here (they already have 4 in just a week ) so it's been bleak.

Yes, it has been. The temperatures are a bit lower the last couple of days, but we still have really high humidity.

The hummingbirds around here have been really active the past week or so. We've had to refill the feeders every other day. We've got one feeder attached with a suction cup to the kitchen window and quite enjoy being able to see the hummingbirds so close.

a fine mess

Hummingbirds are so pretty. Texas has high humidity as well currently. I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures! My aide and I have been taking our umbrella outside during recess with our kiddos. I got a sunburn the first day taking our kids out to the playground, so I thought of the umbrella idea so I'm not getting cooked everyday.

reason to believe

Sunday's are very "do nothing" day for me. I usually spend it at home, either doing what needs to be done before work starts, or peacefully reading, watching tv.

Today I feel wanderlust, thinking about my last travel, food I loved eating that I can't get here

Yeah. If you go outdoors, take an umbrella and don't burn! even tho I live in a place known for overcast weather and rain, I even wear sunglasses during those times, not just on sunny days. My eyes are sensitive to light and so is my skin. Also, I noticed when it's hot out and sunny, it zaps my energy, I didn't get shopping done the other day cause just being outdoors before the mall made me zapped, but this week should be rainy and overcast and it energizes me so maybe I'll actually find some new clothes for work after all.
