No problem! And good morning all.

I don't like hail, Chris. I remember driving an hour in hail and a heavy thunderstorm in Central Texas. I had to come to a stop and I saw cars in standstill under trees on the grass. I just stopped in the road. Country roads are quiet though. Not many people around so I wasn't afraid of getting hit or anything. Couldn't see the road! That was the first I've encountered of having to drive in really bad weather. It never gets that bad further north where I live in Texas. And if it does, I am almost always at home.

TFTNT, Roxy! Good morning to you and everyone else too, hope everyone is doing well today.

I think it was probably five or six years ago we got bad hail here. There were reports of snow in New York that same day, New York is maybe 300 miles from here?? Not quite sure, but it was very strange for August.

Come to think of it, the following winters have been pretty bad.

We are smack in the middle of hurricane season, yet we've only had one really bad storm. We had a tornado watch last month, but it was nothing more than pouring rain for half an hour. No winds, no damage, nothing but rain. I think that might have been the last time we had a really good rainfall.

Hope it stays that way, Bec! We live in tornado valley, but we've been quite lucky to not have gotten any bad tornadoes come through.

Hey Lizzy

TFTNT Cece.

Bec, how long is tornado season there for you? I live in a typhoon-infested country and our rainy season started last month which goes on until September. Every year we get terrible floods here, one where we get non-stop rain for 48 hours. Lately it's been really hot. Last month we got 3 typhoons in 2 weeks.

I haven't experienced hail (or snow). You can't have them all, I think. I guess typhoons = tornadoes = (too much) snow: they're all terrible.

Have a great week ahead everyone!

How are you adjusting to calling me by my name?

Wow Lindsay, typhoons doesn't sound pleasant either. Last month it rained for us off and on almost the entire month. It was raining like every other day or two. We all prayed for sun. Thankfully it started after my first graduate class ended last month so I got to stay at home and keep dry. Some places further south of us flooded, but we were alright here. It was so odd because Texas is supposed to be in a drought around this time. But it was a blessing that we stayed cool a month longer than normal Texas summers.

^That's ton of rain. Like you said though, on the bright side, it wasn't as hot as usual for you.

Weather seems to be getting weird all over lately. Or maybe it's partly that due to the internet, everybody can be immediately aware of what's going on all over the world.

How is everybody today?

Good point! It may just be that you hear about it more now.

I'm good. I feel very rested today and will be going to work soon. How is everyone else?

Nice Chris! Any fun plans for your week off? You seem to be an outdoorsy person! My other graduate class I'm taking this summer ends next week and then I'll be focusing on stuff I'll need to do to prepare for student teaching.

Lizzy!
