I used to play when I was in high school. I got sick with the flu and I missed classes and never got back to playing unfortunately. I got sidetracked with Taekwondo which I enjoyed more.
I've been complaining about how hot it was here these past few days but today it rained. I like it though because it's cooler now. __________________

Lindsay - that sounds like my experience with chemistry in high school. I caught up with my other courses just fine, but chemistry just didn't make any sense to me. The 17% grade I received on the next test confirmed that. I wound up dropping the course.

What did you replace Chem with, Chris? I was pretty good at science in high school. In fact the guidance counselor recommended I take a Science-related course for college but while I like Science, it doesn't interest me as much as making profit (duh!) so I wanted a Business course for college but I suck at Math (Algebra, Trig, you name it). Besides, having a Science course here doesn't get you anywhere as compared to other majors that get good job opportunities here.
Also, Happy Thanksgiving to all of those who are celebrating it! What are you all thankful for? __________________

Lindsay - I didn't replace the chemistry course, just had a spare period.
My Thanksgiving was last month. Doesn't mean I can't be thankful though ... for family & friends, love, health, food on the table and a roof over my head. What about you? __________________

Which is better if you ask me.
We don't celebrate Thanksgiving and like you, it's not an excuse to not be thankful any day. I am thankful for all those things too especially having a wonderful & supportive group of friends & family. Off to watch tennis in a bit! __________________

It's a bit milder today. If the wind dies down, maybe I'll get a cedar wreath made for the porch. __________________

Canada's Thanksgiving is six or seven (depends on when the fourth Thursday is in November) before the United States'. I celebrated Thanksgiving this past Thursday, and I agree Chris... We should be thankful for what we have and the people in our lives every day, not just one day of the year. |

Canadian Thanksgiving is the 2nd Monday in October.
I got my cedar wreath made this afternoon, and got myself organized to start Christmas decorating next week. __________________
