It is fine for me but I have a Macbook Air so maybe it is if you are in Windows 7 or not....

Yes, the site has been slow on occasion lately. The tech people are aware and are supposed to be looking into it.

Leanne - what type of restaurant did you go to? I really miss English style fish & chips. Take out Chinese, pasta or pizza travels just fine, but when we tried fish & chips they were soggy. That's one meal I'm looking forward to going to a restaurant for when they reopen here. As to becoming an aunt We'll have 3 new family members this summer. One niece is having twin girls next month, another is having a boy in August.

Julie - how is your garden doing? My rhubarb is really sprouting up.

That's great news about the babies, Leanne and Chris.

My garden is doing well thanks, Chris. My potatoes, onions, shallots and broad beans are growing rapidly. I have several plants at home that I will transplant to my allotment soon. It has been unusually cold so that job has been delayed.

I have rhubarb too. It's growing slowly.

It's been cool and damp here so my rhubarb is just shooting up. Other than some sunflowers, I don't think I"ll plant much in my garden this year.

It's great that your rhubarb is doing well, Chris.

It was warm here earlier today so I planted some tomato and courgette plants at my allotment. It has got cold again now.

It's supposed to be sunny and mild here the next few days. It will be hard to resist going to the garden centre.

Garden centres are great.

It's a rainy day today. My allotment doesn't need watering so I'm having a lazy day today.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

We're in lockdown until June 2nd due to covid so I'm a bit wary of browsing if it something I don't absolutely need. I should tidy up my garden this weekend. Some of my perennials seem to have fizzled out.

That sounds like an eternity, Chris.

I don't think BC will go on another strict lockdown. The schools have been open all year and haven't closed once.

I finally finished the finishing touches on my new rooms and am enthusiastic cause when I sit in my recliner, everything in front of me is like a colorful aesthetic of the 1960's look along with a fireplace, a window and my cat even matches the colors.

Glad you're pleased with the new rooms Leanne. A fireplace is nice to have. Watching the flames can be relaxing along with providing warmth.

Grocery shopping seems like such a chore these days. Glad to have mine done for the week.

I hope you manage to get something at the garden centre, Chris. If you're buying a plant that produces food, I suppose that would be OK.

That's great, Leanne.

Planted some sunflower seeds yesterday. I don't think I"ll bother with anything else this year. Maybe a tomato plant and some parsley. It looks like I lost one of my hosta plants in my flower garden over the winter. I should probably replace that. It's a long weekend here, so things will be busy even if we're still only supposed to go out for essential items.

How are you Dave?

My vacuum decided to quit working. Hubby took it apart, but it can't be fixed. Looking into ordering something now.
