We've had some lovely weather the past couple of days. I sat out in the sun and read a bit.

I won't be doing a lot at my allotment this weekend because I'm tired after going back to work this week.

Yeah, I was poked 3 times at the hospital and then had to stay til 3:45 am Ends up I’m mostly healthy and not as anemic as I thought or feel.

Speaking of being poked, I got my first vaccination appointment set for next week. I’m excited to be halfway safer from the virus. Especially when I work in schools.

Julie - Are you glad to be back to work? Totally understand needing some time to yourself to recuperate.

Leanne - that must be frustrating, but at least you know you're not anemic.

I'm finally eligible for the vaccine, but the appointment times are fully booked.

I've had a frustrating day. My internet and cable tv is through a local company that was taken over by Rogers (a national Canadian company) a few years back. Now they're "decommissioning" the accounts from the original company and forcing me to migrate. I had to call them for more information about my options, but they couldn't even find my account! Not by address, phone number or the account number I had. They can take the money out of my chequing account to pay the bill just fine every month though. Finally got that sorted out after speaking with 3 people. With the special offers, staying with Rogers will be my best option. Now I'll have to change my email address everywhere though.

Finally got an appointment for a covid vaccine. Not until May 12th though, and it's out of town. I'll keep watching for availability at the local clinic but for now it feels good to have something organized.

Ugh, Chris. I relate to the madness about stupid cable companies. They make it complicated for us, but have no problems with obtaining our money. Its like me canceling my cable internet for moving. I can do everything on the website except cancel the account.

I had 2-3 hours of sleep last night so I'm feeling not that great.

I get my first vaccine shot tomorrow afternoon, its out of town where I work rather than where I live so I hope I have no big side effects cause I have to drive home after.

Still haven't heard back from the cable company but I have started the process of switching my main email over to gmail. Updating contacts and profile info on websites is time consuming!

It went well. So far, all I had was drowsiness after getting the shot.

Wow, that’s really annoying Chris.

Tomorrow I plan to warn my cable company my account ends at the end of this month!
