I'm getting lost in all this holiday rush but good news is that I'm nearly done with Christmas shopping. I can't believe this. I am early this year.
Does anyone have a favorite food that they only eat during Christmas? __________________

We have turkey for Christmas too. I enjoy a glass or two of eggnog over the holiday season. That's something I wouldn't have any other time of the year. oh, for Christmas morning we have Belgian waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream. Don't make the effort to do that any other time of the year.
How about you? __________________

Usually, for Christmas dinner, our dessert is a raspberry chocolate cheesecake pie. And I like rum balls (but no one in my family makes them, a co-worker gave me some and I've been wanting since ) Also, I like chocolate coconut balls and ginger bread cookies.
I also like the cranberry bliss bars from Starbucks and the gingerbread loaf slice. Both of which I haven't tried this season yet. I also enjoy hot spinach dip which we only make for appetizers at Christmas Eve too! __________________

Kristen, ah so those food is what you have for Christmas there?
Chris, Belgian waffles with fresh fruit & whipped cream. This is the best. Leanne, raspberry chocolate cheesecake pie is delicious. Rum balls is something I'd eat but too much can make you tipsy I assume? We usually have the Christmas ham, chicken cordon bleu & macaroni salad. The cordon bleu we can eat anytime but my cousin's wife makes the best chicken cordon bleu so she usually cooks it for the holidays. All of this food talk makes me hungry now. __________________

Ok, now this thread is just making hungry and its just in time for my lunch hour
Ok, I'm at the end of my tolerance for this extra loud seeming workday. I have a feeling I'll be listening to meditation music during the weekend. The kids everywhere are too wound up cause of the impending holiday activities!! __________________

HAHA! I don't like a lot of noise too especially at work. I'd be putting on the earplugs so I can drown the noise out if that were me.
I'm going grocery shopping this weekend for the family Christmas party (I'm excited about this) and then this coming Friday is our office Christmas party which also happens to be Friday the 13th. __________________

Christmas parties can be fun.
I don't mind a few Christmas carols, especially the traditional songs. A lot of the reworked versions strike me as wrong and get annoying. I slept really well last night, and the sun is out, so I'm looking forward to a good day. __________________

I like originals of Christmas music!
Well, tonight is an appetizer night at an aunt’s house but it’s just cold and dark out and I feel like I would rather watch tv all warm in bed. I’m such a party pooper unlike Lindsay and Chris! I just know the next two weeks the kids at work will be more crazy than usual and I’m gearing up for it! __________________

I know what you mean about preferring to stay home on a nasty night. Did you enjoy your party?
I think my Christmas shopping is done. Might still buy a few stocking stuffer items, but the major stuff is sorted out. __________________
